The Quality Tech I supports Manufacturing and other Customer-related processes by performing a variety of inspection tasks involving raw materials, finished products, and documentation, in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company and customer requirements. Documentation Inspection includes reviewing documents related to receiving incoming purchased materials, manufacturing documentation, shipping documentation, and customer purchase orders and drawings. This role requires an exceptional level of detail orientation to ensure that all information given on the documents is correct including customer requirements, material specifications, product identification, etc.

Openings on Multiple shifts:

  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm,
  • PAY: $18/hr to $22/hr

  • 3rd Shift : Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 pm - 5:30 am,
  • PAY: $18/hr to $22/hr plus $1/hr shift differential

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a Quality or Production role, performing inspections and using gauges.
  • Ability to use handheld gauges and other measurement devices safely and appropriately.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of inspection techniques and familiarity with sampling plans.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and customer specifications.
  • Ability to read, understand, translate, and clearly communicate customer requirements both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer proficiency in MS Word/Excel and good math skills.
  • Prior knowledge of QAD MFG/Pro is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of root cause analysis and other quality tools.
