Overview

Full Spectrum Operations, a joint venture between By Light Professional IT Services and American
Communications Solutions is hiring talented IT professionals for the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The Eastern and Western Ranges provide capabilities for customers to safely launch, track and recover spacelift systems as well as perform operational test missions in support of ballistic missile deployment and aircraft flight tests.

EWOCS provides communication systems maintenance, operations, and support services for voice, video, data and infrastructure yielding a robust communications capability for a wide range of customers in a dynamic launch environment.

Responsibilities
    The Client Systems Technician installs and repairs equipment; instructs customers in equipment operation; provides technical assistance; checks equipment for malfunctions.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
  • Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
  • Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
  • Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
  • Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
  • Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.
  • Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
  • The Customer Service Representative Associate travels frequently to customer sites and performs field technician service duties as assigned.

Under general supervision the Cusomer Service Representative Associate shall:

  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.
  • Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense.
  • May assist and train less experienced personnel.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • MUST have a CompTIA Security+, or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • High School plus advanced training, and 3 - 4 yrs. of experience.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
  • MUST have an ACTIVE DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
