Job Description

Visa U S A Inc. a Visa Inc. company, needs a Program Manager (Multiple Openings) in Foster City, CA to:

  • Execute and deliver projects through completion for Visa's important product-led initiatives.
  • Lead a work stream consisting of many different functions driving multiple simultaneous efforts.
  • Work with various stakeholders to manage scope, secure support and resources for execution, and deploy processes that improve day-to-day operations.
  • Adjust competing priorities, utilize synergies, align complementary initiatives, and build coalitions among cross-functional partner.
  • Work through challenges, identify bottlenecks and dependencies, and unblock the project team for execution.
  • Report on status, progress, milestones, deliverables, outcomes, and lessons learned to all applicable parties.
  • Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, followed by 6 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a program or project manager-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a program or project manager-related occupation.

  • Program and product management in a fast-paced environment;
  • Project management, including managing, planning, organizing, scheduling and tracking of projects from initiation and planning to execution and delivery;
  • Defining project requirements;
  • Designing the timelines and scope of a project, including resourcing;
  • Project management frameworks like agile project management;
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and
  • Process improvement initiatives.

WORKSITE: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements:This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $163,571.00 USD to $211,600.00USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
