Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Administrator provides assistance with and facilitates various human resources processes. This role provides administrative support to the human resources function, including payroll processing, record-keeping, file maintenance, recruiting, safety and training.

Essential Duties:

Answer incoming general calls to the main switchboard. Sorts and stamps all incoming mail.
Serves as a backup to payroll processing. Reviews timesheets to ensure accuracy and maintain related documents. Collaborates with other departments and supports all aspects of the payroll process. Generate and send various ADP management reports.
Assists with recruiting tasks including creating job postings, searching resumes and scheduling interviews. Oversees temporary --recruitment and sends timesheets to agency weekly.
Organize and conduct onboarding of all new hires including new hire orientation.
Maintain department records, create and log HRIS change requests forms.
Administers I9 forms and submits E-Verify via online web-based system. Maintains log of expiring documentation and follows up with the employee as needed to ensure compliance.
Assist with termination paperwork and exit process.
Provides customer service by responding to employee's basic questions and requests.
Maintains all personnel files for terminated and current employees.
Assist with sending injured employee to clinic and ensure incident reports are completed. Partners with HR Generalist on workers compensation.
Part of Safety Committee; keep meeting minutes, safety suggestions box, sends out toolbox monthly and update committee spreadsheet.
Administrate hearing conservation program scheduling yearly testing and follow up as needed.
Generate reports for required training and enter completed training. Follows up on any outstanding training with department managers.
Organize and plan events for employee engagement, holidays, luncheons etc.
Maintains the employee parking spots.
Maintains HR related brochures and labor law posters to ensure compliance.
Works on various HR related projects.
Other duties as assigned.

The pay scale for this position ranges from $24.00-$29.00 hourly

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in human resources. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with ADP preferred.
Knowledge of State and Federal labor laws.
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Attention to detail and organized.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
