Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. Job Description Summary | Under the supervision of the Director of Athletic Training, team physician and Athletic Director, this position is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. To optimize activity and participation of over 700 athletes participating in 22 NCAA Division III sanctioned sports. Projected start date is August 1, 2024. |

Special Instructions to Applicants | This position requires maintaining current certification as an athletic trainer, through the BOC, Inc. and current certification in Emergency Cardiac Care. This position requires travel with teams to athletic competitions, including overnight and out of state trips. It requires flexibility in scheduling and evening and/or weekend hours. It may require providing own transportation to various sporting events. Satisfactory DMV check will be required in order to drive university vehicles. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion and outcomes of a criminal background screening, DMV driving clearance, and signed original acceptance of the Chapman University Agreement to Arbitrate. Applicants for Staff and Administrator positions must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Chapman University does not sponsor applicants for Staff and Administrator positions for work visas. |
