Job Description
SUMMARY
The Cell Operator works closely with the CNC Machinist and is responsible for all scheduled parts assigned to them to be completed per the drawing(s) and by the scheduled due date in all cells. Responsible for machine acceptable production parts utilizing production equipment per drawing, DHR, and any other ancillary written instructions in cells.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CNC Lathes to machine parts per specifications and tooling instructions applying knowledge of machining methods.
- Read blueprints for product specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Observe operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined part to specifications, using micrometers, comparator, tool makers, and oasis.
- Understand and perform all work instructions.
- Accurately enter all information requested into MRP/ERP system.
- Performs special assignments as directed by supervision commensurate with experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
