Director or Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis
Our client, a private equity firm, is looking for Director or Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team.
LOCATION:
Palo Alto, CA. 1 day/week in office, remainder from home.
This position reports to the CFO, and will work very closely with the Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to establish solid relationships with all levels of an organization.
- High degree of organization and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Anticipate the needs of the Finance team, deal teams and senior management for routine reporting.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide insightful, actionable solutions and outputs.
- Proven experience working in a fluid environment where a flexible approach is critical to success.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Use a creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and thinking about ways to make financial reporting more efficient.
- Act with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
REQUIREMENTS:
- CPA or CFA preferred
- Prior experience within asset management and investment valuations
- Ability to establish solid relationships with all levels of an organization.
- High degree of organization and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

COMPENSATION:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: up to $300K + bonus. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
