This position is located at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida and Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

This position is eligible for a (hybrid) telecommuting schedule.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate sparing levels and inventory usage for both Eastern and Western Ranges
  • Assist in the management of the Inventory Control Points (ICP) for both National Stock Numbered (NSN) and Non-Stock Listed (NSL) spares for the wholesale inventory
  • Catalog spares with new stock numbers for contract's modernization projects
  • Develop continuous implementation of processes, procedures and workflow systems for contract assets
  • Ensure company is in compliance by monitoring ICP metrics, backorders and submits reports to management and the Space Force customer
  • Implement Item Unique Identifier (IUID) requirements on all wholesale spares
  • Create purchase requisitions for the increase of the Interim Supply Support (ISS) spares due to increased failure rates or long lead times on repairs / procurements
  • Track ICP spares through the repair process to maintain serviceable assets at the established levels and eliminate backorders
  • Fulfill Base Supply requisitions for the ICP to replenish retail supply levels by processing requisitions in accordance with Air Force Base Supply procedures, FAR 45-5, AFI 23-101 and commercial business practices
  • Identify legacy assets with no Logistics Management Information and perform research to gather information and assign assets under the ICP
  • Collect and analyze data to identify and reduce excess inventory or increase allowances for all assets
  • Create standard and ADHOC reports for management.
  • Initiate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) cases to find alternative solutions and identify new cases to the DMSMS group
  • Expedite material for special programs, maintenance, or production shops
  • Perform all duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
  • Strong ability to develop new processes and metrics using Microsoft Office programs
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) years' experience with logistics/supply, education or training which demonstrates a thorough knowledge of inventory management and analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of DoD and Government supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines, preferred
  • Experience with MAXIMO and/or similar supply management system, preferred
  • Three years' experience with logistics/supply, education or training which demonstrates a thorough knowledge of inventory management and analysis, preferred
  • Technical background or understanding of Range Systems, preferred
  • Working knowledge of Supply Regulations AFI 23-101, AF123-123, AFMAN23-122, preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required.

FOR CALIFORNIA ONLY:

The salary range for this role is $76,970 - $120,485; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
