This position is located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Tasks for this position must be performed largely on-site, but later assignments may be performed remotely.

Essential Functions
  • Reviews, edits, formats, and ensure compliance of Government and commercial requirements for various mission products for Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Reviews CDRL material content to ensure consistent thought, development, or organization and makes corrections, as appropriate
  • Ensures CDRL documents are processed accurately and delivered by their milestone dates
  • Edits Range Operations documentation for grammar, format, and consistency to ensure compliance with department and company requirements
  • Takes detailed and comprehensive notes during document review/editing meetings
  • Pursues initiatives to improve the quality, efficiencies, and timeliness of Section and LISC enterprise solutions, products or services
  • Develops and integrates enterprise Integrated Process Team (IPT) concepts and recommendations to capitalize on best practices, efficiencies and standardization
  • Works with shared drives, shared documents and publishing documents to a web environment
  • Ensures document version control throughout all document lifecycles
  • Maintains and updates document templates, forms and checklists
  • Prepares and publishes daily reports
  • Archives documentation according to contract requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Ability to multitask to accomplish objectives with time-sensitive and reduced scheduling constraints
  • Excellent writing skills and demonstrated mastery of grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the customers, superiors, and peers with limited supervision.
  • Highly motivated and self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision and guidance
  • Ability to prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Experience
  • BS/BA degree in Data or Business Analytics or Data Management Business Administration or English or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two (2) years or more practical experience as a data manager or technical editor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working with shared drives, shared documents and publishing documents to a web environment
  • Highly Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro, primarily editing and working with digital signatures in PDF documents
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • The flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project and operational requirements.
  • May require occasional local travel
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
