A manufacturer in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this Senior Accountant role, the individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, supporting the annual audit, reconciliations, and month-end close. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3-6 years of accounting experience
  • Must have inventory accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • CPA tracking is a nice to have
What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?
  • Create and maintain accounting protocols and internal controls in compliance with US GAAP
  • Budget preparation
  • Participate in coordination of the annual audit
  • Monitor and analyze inventory costs
  • Month-end and year-end close
  • Analyze company's financial performance
  • Create and manage GL account supporting schedules
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee AR
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Maintain fixed assets

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
