A manufacturer in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this Senior Accountant role, the individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, supporting the annual audit, reconciliations, and month-end close. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-6 years of accounting experience
- Must have inventory accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- CPA tracking is a nice to have
- Create and maintain accounting protocols and internal controls in compliance with US GAAP
- Budget preparation
- Participate in coordination of the annual audit
- Monitor and analyze inventory costs
- Month-end and year-end close
- Analyze company's financial performance
- Create and manage GL account supporting schedules
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee AR
- Prepare journal entries
- Maintain fixed assets
- Great product at a stable company
- Future growth path to being promoted to Accounting Manager
- Ability to get involved with M&A work

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
