Health and Safety Coach needed for a full-time contract opportunity with Yoh's well-known entertainment client located in Anaheim, CA.

This job is expected to last about 7 months (December 2024) with potential for extension. Unique job getting to support health education needs for employees. Must be flexible to work rotating 5/8 schedule between Monday and Sunday, typically between the hours of 5:00am and 7:00pm.

The ideal candidate would possess exceptional facilitation skills utilizing creative measures to deliver the material and engage with the employees. Time contraints exist and must be followed. The material you will be presenting will be in Spanish (or Creole) and English creatively. Be engaging, facilitate participation, stay on time. Make it fun and make it mean something. You are trying to make the concepts stick.


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• 3 or more years of experience in health promotion, health management, human resources and/or organizational behavior type setting
• Understanding and proven experience in health management: prevention, screening, behavior modification, and disease management
• REQUIRED: bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole
• Coaching certification from Wellcoaches or another nationally recognized coaching organization preferred
• Must be engaging, creative, and well spoken to get employees excited and keep them entertained

• Develop and maintain relationships with injury prevention program participants and assist them through the process of actively working towards better health
• Supply support, encouragement, and education
• Partner with vendors and company resources to develop and execute workplace well-being strategies that will improve the employees' health
• Coordinate health and well-being communications while utilizing public speaking skills to educate large groups of participants on topics including: nutrition, sleep hygiene, mental wellbeing, and physical activity in order to promote healthy behavior, and health care management
• Establish an ongoing, in-person relationship with program participants and offer support and guidance in establishing behavioral goals
• Meet with team members in person on a consistent follow-up basis to review progress, refine goals, explore challenges and provide guidance and motivation to overcome challenges
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all program participant progress and provide detailed reports on program participant outcomes

• Must be flexible as this is a newly created position with a work schedule that fluctuates around the patients' needs
• Confident with computer use (ie MS Office suite)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and work well under pressure
