Schedule: 1st shift
Pay rate: $23 - 25/hr.
Water Jet Operator Assistant essential tasks:
- Operate the Laser and Waterjet cutting machines.
- Set up and operate waterjet cutting machine in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload the laser and or the water jet with various material.
- Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product.
- Ability to machine in tight tolerances; understanding of G Codes.
- Deburr, drill, tap and countersink parts.
- Interpret information from drawings with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain quality of fabricated parts and equipment
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of precision measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, ability to read engineered drawings, and basic math skills. 2+ years of related experience required.
