Join our winning team as an Electrical Technicianin Plaquemine, LA. In your role as an Electrical Technician, you will perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration work on industrial electrical circuitry and components.

Electrical Technician Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform calibration, repair, and integrity checks of process instrument equipment to assure that accuracy, functionality, and reliability are within acceptable limits.
  • Assist the Instrument Technology Leader in providing technical assistance to production and engineering groups on application of new and modification of existing process instrumentation.
  • Review job packages and ensure work can be carried out safely and accordingly.
  • Obtain work permits and follow isolation of energy requirements prior to commencing work.
Electrical Technician Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; NCCER certification or degree from accredited trade school are preferred.
  • 3+ years of work experience in an electrical maintenance role that reflects progressive responsibility and knowledge; process or chemical plant experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in off-shift call duty.
  • Proficient with standard hand tools and software used in the calibration and maintenance of smart instrumentation.
  • SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge preferred.
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills; trouble-shooting and analytical skills.
  • Up to 10% travel to the St. Gabriel plant location required
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
