HGA is in search of a Senior Marketing Coordinator to champion marketing collateral and content creation for the greater Boston area. Working with a four-person team, the Senior Marketing Coordinator role requires a passion for storytelling and visual communication; exceptional project management and detail-oriented skills; and a solution-focused mindset with an ability utilize resources to pivot through the unexpected. From writing and designing content and producing proposals to developing HGA stories to inspire action, we're looking for someone who can help us win more desired clients and projects, and drive engagement with HGA's brand.

In this role you will:
    Lead the end-to-end process, including strategy input, project management, content development, and document production, for RFQ/P responses (proposals, qualification packages, brochures), and client pitch presentations.
  1. Collaborate with practice group leaders, principals, and business developers to drive messaging strategy, define narrative approach, and create content to persuade target audiences.
  2. Develop high-quality content for other marketing initiatives, including awards submissions, conferences, special events, social media, speaking engagements, advertising, the HGA website.
  3. Coordinate or assist with field marketing activities (special events, conferences, photo shoots).
  4. Partner with the Marketing and Communications teams on the execution of strategic initiatives and champion marketing projects across teams as appropriate.
  5. Take a leadership role in the department, acting as a resource and mentor to staff in Boston or other offices.
You will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design (or other related field) or a relevant combination of experience, education, and training.
  • 5+ years of professional experience writing marketing content, creating marketing collateral in Adobe InDesign, and managing multiple marketing projects from beginning to end.
  • Experience managing and producing RFQ/P responses in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, preferably within Healthcare, Higher Education, Community/Arts, Public, or Corporate sectors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and convincingly to target audiences.
  • A discerning eye for design and graphics with exceptional aptitude in Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Zoom, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager a plus.
  • Proficiency in Canva, WordPress, and/or Deltek Vision or VantagePoint is a plus.
Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $84,000-$117,600
