Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years working as an Engineering Technician for complex mechanical systems.
- Good mixture of design/build/test/figure-it-out skills.
- Familiar with medical device manufacturing processes such as applying adhesive, UV curing, thermal bonding, cutting techniques, soldering, and optics assembly.
- Experience with process development, equipment/tooling development, and inspection.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate in English orally and via writing.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with complex medical equipment is a plus.
- Experience in rapid prototyping with 3D printing technology
- Basic capability with SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Experience with Line Clearance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and ISO 9001
