Description

Under the direct supervision of the manager/director of Building and Safety Facilities (Building Operations), the Building & Key Coordinator performs general maintenance tasks related to the research, clinical, and office space. The Building & Key Coordinator will demonstrate initiative in problem solving and inform the supervisor(s) as necessary based on the impact to building, occupants, and building systems. The Building & Key Coordinatorwill also apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.


Salary Range: $25.95 - $54.50 Hourly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science field and or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of facility maintenance practices and procedures along with safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Skill in interpreting documents such as complex technical procedures, instructions, manuals, specifications, blueprints and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of common safety procedures, regulations, and applicable codes.
  • Knowledge of the Uniform Building Code, Industrial Safety Standards, code procedures.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to prepare a variety of correspondence, reports and documentation.
  • Knowledge of the use of standard organization computer applications, Word, Excel and other common desktop applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations.


Preferred:

  • Certification in a specialty skilled/maintenance trade.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Campus Map.
  • Knowledge of Research Labs.
  • Knowledge of CISCO, Jabber, and other IT systems, apps, etc.
