What You Need to Know

On-Call Staffing Coordinator Job Responsibilities

As an On Call Staffing Coordinator, you will:

    • Receives referrals and inquiries concerning the programs of the agency.
    • Routes referrals and inquiries concerning licensed service to the appropriate person/department
    • Responds promptly and courteously to all patients'/clients' inquiries or problems. Refers to Nursing Supervisor, Office Manager, or Director as appropriate.
    • Assigns staff appropriately according to client's needs and staff skills.
    • Maintains current records of client requests, employee availability, delegated assignments and any/all other as requested by Director.
    • Communicates continually with employee and client to evaluate service.
    • Interviews and screens unlicensed applicants. Recommends appropriate action to the Director of Private Services for final decisions.
    • Promotes agency's positive image through effective telecommunication and personal staff/client interactions.
    • Reviews staff timecards for accuracy.
    • Assists in reassessment and evaluations of field staff.
    • Serves as liaison between the caregivers and Director/Coordinator of Branch Operations.
    • Complies with all agency policy and procedures.
    • Assumes other responsibilities as delegated by the leadership.

Qualifications

On-Call Staffing Coordinator Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Experience with scheduling in the medical field; homecare scheduling experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year data entry, word processing and/or medical records maintenance experience in a medical customer service environment generally required
